Beginning with the goal of reducing the operational energy consumption of public building energy systems, promoting the electrification of building heating, and enhancing the utilization of renewable energy sources, this paper presents the design concept of a composite energy system for an office-hotel complex project, which integrates ground-source heat pumps, municipal heat, and chiller units in a combined series and parallel configuration. The dynamic simulation is carried out by using the simulation software, and the thermal equilibrium operation strategy and operational energy consumption are compared and analysed. The results show that the composite energy system has good energy saving and environmental protection benefits.
